Escalation

Intro

Escalation refers to escalating a task when the assigned user has not completed it within a certain time.

How it's implemented

The rules governing escalation are configured in natural language within Decisively. Authors have full control to express the complexity of escalation logic and defining what workflows should trigger.

Escalation is managed within the EdWard system, but it does require certain data to be populated into the contacts record for each employee. This data needs to be managed and sychronised to ensure that is kept up to date. Review the Contacts page for more information.
